Seven is a bright yellow golf cart at KOA Kampground #447 in Virginia - and the most overworked employee on the property. Narrating from the driver's seat (or more accurately, from underneath whoever's driving), Seven chronicles a single unforgettable summer of campground life: the retired couple who arrive in a bus-sized motorhome and can't back up, the maintenance man Earl whose tool collection defies physics, the teenage staffer Tyler whose mustache is "mostly hope," and the parade of families, misfits, and weekend warriors who cycle through the sites. Part workplace comedy, part love letter to the invisible people who keep things running, Confessions of a KOA Golf Cart finds humor and heart in the ordinary machinery of hospitality - the emergency toilet paper deliveries, the septic disasters nobody talks about, the late-night firewood runs that save someone's s'more. Through Seven's eyes, we see what humans look like when they think no one's watching: generous, ridiculous, brave, and occasionally terrible at parking. It's a warm, funny, and surprisingly moving novel about dignity in service, the beauty of showing up, and what happens when you carry more than you were built for.
